WOOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!! I've watched that gameplay 3 times today,it's....it's...soo......AWESOME!!! The gameplay is soft, there's diference on the animation, the graphics are cool, it's so awesome!!! I hope there's another video gameplay soon (that aren't slide show).
My technical brain has quickly annexed my thoughts for a moment: So does this mean that the sun is going to be the primary lightsource when outside? As in, the actual sprite of the sun being the point at which the light is generated from (with silly level strength, probably) (Wait, that's silly, you could have your shadow projected upwards with some ludicrous jumping... which would be coolish), thus meaning that the time of day would affect the direction of shadows on the surface, and that two differant players on vastly differant locations of the planet's surface would see the time of day as differant? (assuming that the sun moves around the planet in the same way that players can). But whatever, awesome! The way the light is working is just win right now!
It is quite promising! With the lighting dynamics already better, I cannot imagine the other physics that will be applied in the game, some things to think about are (and these are mainly suggestions, I cannot promise this.): -Gravity on the varying planets. -the water physics as suggested by Sarzael -Possible sound effects -Atmosphere make-up -Otherworldly natural hazards
