I waver at the edges of the water and wonder do I cross floating or do I dive under? and the stars reflected on the surface make me move regardless of this or that for space is everywhere and whether through deep cold and vacuum or through crushing ocean depths I will move, I will find, and I will win...
Picking flowers in the rain, nobody will ever see my pain, millions of pricks stabbing at your heart of steel, only we know how it feels to be a Glitch (Not sure if this is a necro...)
Apex are preferred, To these barbaric Florans. Burn them to the ground... Torture I prefer, To be branded a traitor Down with the rebellion.
I'm just a regular human. I never aspired to more. But since our fair race, has fallen from grace, I've taken on chore after chore. How should I know how to pilot a spaceship? My dreams never reached past the moon. Since that tentacled beast, made my home world a feast, I've been dancing to another tune. I've mined out whole planets to bedrock. My colonies thrive and grow strong. My combative technique, is a marvellous feat, and my crew swells as more join the throng. I'm now quite the critter-cap master. My beasts are a sight to behold! My utopia's lined, with flowers sublime and the streets are all rivers of gold. So I've changed quite a lot in my ventures. My dreams now soar out past the stars. What seemed a typhoon, was really a boon. I'm a Star bounding human commissar.
A poem based on one of my characters Coming to Terms with the Vast Loneliness of Space (and in your heart) How many homes can one person have before they can settle in? Am I to finally take root in a foreign land or remain forever on the wind? My pack feel like strangers I barely know who is who anymore My friends on Earth were taken from me by an ancient beast from the days of yore I've look to the stars They seem to see through me It's as if they hope I continue on and not waste an opportunity Despite the excitement and intrigue, I just can't escape this lonely feeling inside After all, journeys aren't a lot of fun if there's no one else along for the ride
