Bug/Issue Stuttering, Lagging

The game keeps lagging on me with enemies freezing in movement while I can still move and attack them (the damage are combined when the lags stop). It seems to worsen with the more NPCs I have on my screen, including enemies , pets, and crewmembers.

 

Computer specs?

Well there is your problem. Your specs are just barely over the minimum, so stellar performance isn't in the cards.

your RAM is only DDR2, which by todays standards is very slow, and you only have 4GB, so there isn't much wiggle room for the game, let alone if you have any bigger mods.

 

According to Steam sysreq anyway, my system is more or less in the recommended specs. My Core 2 Quad Q9550 is performance wise equal with i3-3220

Yes DDR 2 is fuckin' old but no I don't any resource intensive mods. So it's either a performance issue or the sysreq is plain misleading.

EDIT: Stuttering issue resolved by unticking "Multiplayer with Steam Friends" in option.

 

... THAT issue is still around? Eesh...

 

I found it from Version 1.2.1 Changelog. Huh come to think of it it's weird how this option affect performance. Thanks for the help by the way, much appreciated.
