Mob Tamable Mobs?

Hey, It's BlastRed. ​

You know what i think might be cool?​

Tamable mobsters, or mobs! ​

I heard that you would get a STARTER PET! that seems awesome​

i mean who doesn't want a pet by there side helping them?​

WELL...​

i was thinking, that you can find a creature, on some kind of planet​

and tame it using some kind of item.​

FOR EXAMPLE:​

Mechanic Wolf​

In a "techy planet" ​

They are hostile​

and will attack​

Say i want to tame it.​

mechanical bone​

tames Mechanic Wolfs​

(Also to tame it you would need to capture it and calm it)Say with a tranquilizer dart. using a pea shooter, or maybe a tranquilizer dart.​

To make it pass out. then capture it. ​

When it wakes up. make sure it doesn't get too mad!​

And give the bone ASAP​

ONCE TAMED :​

It will turn into a tamed(peaceful mob) with a nicer looking appearance​

It will follow you and explore with you on your adventures​

I think that the item you gave it should show on the animal​

(since it being a "bone" would be in the dogs mouth)​

Only if its something consumable like FISH​

It will do different things then when it​

was hostile.​

and they SOMEWHAT help you through the adventure you're having​

I would think when this mech dog was hostile to shoot lasers from it eyes (ranged attack)​

i think that fits well. ​

But when it is tamed i think it should do some kind of "melee" bite​

as it is a dog, and that is what dogs mostly do ​

I wouldn't think of it giving of a buff. As it is not magic.​

I would expect a faerie pet to give off a healing buff​

but not a dog. dogs are more, "RUFF" creatures.​

GET IT? AHAHAHAHAH going on.​

How it would be done​

The process of taming wouldn't be as complicated as you think​

SAY WE ARE TAMING A OCELOT​

You would need a specific item to tame it.​

Maybe some kind of "fishy" item will tame an ocelot​

So, TO tame an ocelot.​

you would:​

-Need the fishy item​

-Need to crouch/sneak to the ocelot​

-Make the ocelot approach you​

Then once it is looking to you, shift click it.​

Then it will INSTANTLY become a cat.​

already confirmed. they might(might, as in i wish) even evolve and get stronger. the method of capture is still open to speculation though; did ya sprite the dog yourself?

Sadly I cannot fix it today. My computer is acting up. I'm in my phone sadly...

I can already tell you that I had a while description of the tamed dogs attributes.
i also made a sprite of what it looks like. I will DO it again ASAP tomarrow ET. its 10:22 PM here now.

 

book-marked the page, i really wanna see what you have in mind(as the process of taming is still a mystery, this could be the thing that wins it). i won't vote till then.
