I've seen to notice a strange oddity about the teleport/respawn mechanics in SB, if the player does an action such as jumping, getting hit, etc on the same tick that he dies or teleports. When the player arrives, the player briefly continues that action. I call it teleport buffering since it seems to act very similar to pause buffering in other games, as it remembers inputs during the teleport/respawn. For teleporters, it seems to work with any teleporter, but the ship is the most common place. With dying, it occurs when you respawn on your ship, or on missions, the checkpoint. Glitches this cause: -If you use the sprint tech and did a teleport buffer at the right time, the sprint particles will stay until you sprint again. -Jumping and then teleport buffer causes you to do a small hop on arrival. -If timed perfectly, damage will occur to the player upon arrival. Resulting in weird deaths if timed right. -Knockback from enemies also do this to players alot, even if they die during the knockback of the hit -Certain sounds like the player getting hit is also buffered. -(Unconfirmed)Using a weapon will cause it to be used upon arrival/respawn Related? Teleporting somewhere and then suddenly it forces you to teleport back.
