Modding Help Terraforming with throwable item

Is there a way to make bomb terraform the planet into scorched one on the explosion?

 

IIRC it takes some time to terraform. So your item may need to persist for a time. Or perhaps it creates something that does the terraforming.

I refer to taking time to terraform the WHOLE planet. I believe smaller parts can be done sooner - something more fitting of a bomb anyhow.
