If this is a post-every-music-video-you-have-seen kind of thing, then here. This is from a movie, but it doesn't really contain any huge spoilers. Hardly any spoilers at all.
Naaaah The sound GIFs cut out as soon as we start. Or y'know, soon after. Except for mine, you can expect me to continue sharing.
why yes I'm a filthy Homestuck Fern misses Cricket. Cuda had lied: Fern had escaped after all, on the same ship as Jan Stray, who'd turned out to be Syd's niece. Now the young Jan, seeing Fern's state, has resolved to try to cheer him up. "Let's play a game." "What game?" Jan frowns. She doesn't know of that many games that can be played in a spaceship. They try counting the stars, until they tire of that. Exploring the ship, until they tire of that. Then, nearly at the same time, the two have an idea. "Let's play Penguin Games!" The two manage to gather a handful of other escapees, some of whom only feign interest; others are eager to play once Jan whispers the secret twist in their ear. Most are human, this time. "Here, pick a card," Jan tells each one. There are far more cards than there are players, of course. There's a card for almost all of the characters in the game, plus some of the monsters. 45 cards, to be exact. And only 14 players. After everyone's picked a card, and looked at it, Fern and Jan take the cards back and look them over. Fern grins. Jan nods. "Mind if I do the honors?" Fern shrugs. "Sssure." "Okay. So, as I think you all know, there are fourteen people in this game. Fourteen cards you've chosen. And now I'm going to reveal them to you. "There are ten humans: Caroline, Haley, Jas, Linus, Robin, Sam, Sebastian, Willy, the Wizard, and Vincent. "And there are four monsters: a Bat, a Metal Head, a Shadow Shaman, and a Skeleton." "Do what you will with that information." She smiles mysteriously. "Are you ready?" A chorus of yesses. "Then let'ss go!" shouts Fern. The fourth Penguin Games has begun. Are you using double periods on purpose? And no, it isn't a crapshoot, it's called RVS, where you establish voting alliances, and see how people react as votes stack up on them. From there, you can make an informed decision on who to vote for, and regardless of the outcome of the lynch, gather information and intelligence to use the following day based on how alliances stacked up on previous days.
