Ok, what about this. We lynch Immortal Trance, as he's a Boring Human if I remember correctly. Plus he hasn't been active. Then, at night, someone investigates me. That way, I can prove my innocence.

Why would we waste our lynch on him? We know he's not dangerous. Granted, he may not have been active lately, but lynching him instead of someone who might actually be a Penguin... No.
I did that once. I agreed to lynch the Alpaca, Quitaren, because it wouldn't hurt our cause.... Except I forgot to consider that it actually would, because if the Civilians lynch someone who they know is not dangerous to them, they're basically wasting a lynch that could be better spent on someone actually suspicious. So now I know better, and I'm urging everyone to leave Trance alone, because it'd be infinitely better just to lynch the bad guy, eh?

 

Yes, but I'm not the bad guy. Lyning me is the same as lynching Trance; you just lose vote. And what good is Trance's vote, anyway? He hast replied to this thread in ages.

 

I don't have any proof you're not the bad guy. We do have proof Trance isn't. It ain't about his vote or yours - haven't you been abstaining, anyways? So what good is YOUR vote?

 

I voted for ModsBrah and would've voted for Lonewolf had I been on before head lynched. I don't think Immortal Trance has voted at all.

Trance is off the list then. But I still stand by my proposal; lynch someone who we know is either innocent or hasn't claimed a role, then investigate me at night. I'm innocent, and I want to at least have the chance to prove it.

 

But Squid, YOU haven't claimed a role. Why are you more important than any other Civvie or suspect?

But still. If you ARE a Human, that sure doesn't make you any more important than, say, the special roles... And remember the game where Dave Combine was The Dove, and after being revealed decided not to vote anymore? Think of Trance as like that. And did we lynch Dave? No, no we did not.

 

True, but that was a different game entirely. If we needed to, we could've lynched him, but it didn't come to that. Now, were talking about getting rid of someone who has no special abilities and has not been here to vote, basically making him dead weight. Why keep him if he's not contributing to the team? As for me, I have a vote, and though I might not have any special powers, I'm still more useful. All I want is to prove my innocence and stay in this game.

Tomorrow, the innocence-prover will be dead, amirite? He won't have time to tell us what he found, except in the dead chat, and it won't matter because that. Won't. Happen in the first place. I've beaten down every single one of your arguments, Squid. It's almost admirable how determined you are to not die.
It's almost as if you thought you were somehow more important than one lone Boring Human.

It's not that I feel more important than a Boring Human. It's merely the will to live; if you were in my shoes, you wouldn't just sit around and wait for everyone else to lynch you. You'd fight until either you were killed or the rest of the group decided to prove you innocent.

 

Actually, I wouldn't fight this hard. I'd probably snap before this. So GG on that. Still... I guess I must be really stubborn, because despite the decision to lynch you having been a mistake the last two times, I ain't changing my mind.

 

So, despite numerous alternative options, you're insistent on lynching me. To be honest, I find that rather suspicious.
Don't kill an innocent person just because of sheer stubbornness. That's probably one of the biggest mistakes you can make. At least consider this; if it turns out that I am the Dreadwing, lynch me. In the end, if you're correct, I'll be lynched. If you're incorrect, then you saved both my life (in this game) and another vote.

 

Lol I was a burden last game for winning right off the bat.
Anyway I kinda wanna use the lynch on another todeskandidaten and use my night action to confirm Squid's claims but at the same time I don't know.
Squid's defense appears a little panicky to me on some level and that always strikes me as suspicious when someone's not comfortable in the position they're in in this game.
I mean even if you're a civilian you should be relatively calm about your ability to survive the situation because you're innocent but hey that's just me.

 

To be honest, I am kind of panicking. But not in the "HOLY CRAP I'M GONNA DIE" way. I'm panicking because I'm probably gonna be lynched, and my innocence hasn't helped me at all.

 

I want to trust you but this game really develops some confined trust issues between people..
I'll do my thingy on you at night if nobody else votes on you by then, how about that? Until then you try to stay afloat.
