Here is my attempts at putting up a new type of enemy, specifically a space pirate like race, as a suggestion. While I am still working on a spirte for them, I do have the back story written up.... er sightly anyhow. It took me about 15 mins or so to write it up so it isn't the best piece of writing out there. Plan to fix it up a bit if it gathers enough attention up.

The Ras’tigyar were once rumored to have been a powerful force to reckon with in the universe, but that time has long passed. Now they are no more than groups of pirates, mercenaries, or worse they have become devolved savages.
The standard Ras’ tigyar stands about a little taller than a man, at about six foot and five inches. All together, his head looks like someone played god and mixed the vileness of a rat snout with the ferocity of a carnivorous dinosaur or reptile. He has a massive and long pair of jaws filled with razor sharp teeth that excel at ripping flesh from the bone, and he does not mind what he eats, as long as it is meat. At the tip of his snout is a pair of holes which make up his nose, which can detect an excellent range of smells. Atop his head is a spiny crest that is razor sharp at the tips, and is usually bone white. He has two horned spikes at the base of his checks, their purpose long forgotten.
His neck is rather thin at the base of the head but gets thicker as you get toward the body. At the base of the neck, where the shoulders starts, are rather curious growths of hardened flesh. No one knows what their purpose is, although some think they are used for mating rituals. Along their back are a series of armor plates, thick enough to render wearing back armor useless for them. The plates overlap, but occasionally there will be spot open the leads to an exposed back. One of the most curious things about the Ras’ Tigyar are the parasitic like growths one their chest. Usually a tan-brownish color, they can sometimes be different depending on the environment. The growths have what some call an ‘eye’, which is a colored orb that darkens in the center. They orb colors are different for each Ras’ Tigyar and can span the color of the rainbows.
His arms are usually rather muscular, as his culture and life style call for it. His hands are rather plain , being a stereo typical for bipedal carnivores and being clawed with black talons. Next to his chest growth, his legs are the most curious part of him. They are double jointed and have the appearance of a lightning bolt. Being double jointed, the grant him the ability to run faster and jump higher, while being able to backpedal as fast as a normal person can run. His feet are rather curious, as they are star shaped. They are usually meaty and end in a talon.
As a pirate, the Ras’ Tigyar is ruthless, cunning, and terrifying. Not one for taking prisoners, he will board a ship, kill the crew, take the cargo, then destroy the ship. He has no qualms eating a fallen victim if he is hungry, and eats to his heart’s content, even overstuffing if he is in the mood.
As a mercenary, the Ras’ Tigyar are Strong willed, quick witted, and honor bound. When he is faced with a disarmed foe, he will ether give them a gun or disarm himself to continue to fight. These Ras’ usually tend to follow the Old ways, being nomadic and fighting for those who cannot fight. They don’t do it because they are nice; they do it because they view it as a challenge. They usually end up fighting with the odds against them, and 75% of the time they win.
As a savage, well… .the Ras’ Tigyar is basically just like every other animal
