Race The splurgs (Exotic, pink and stinky playable race)

Yeah well, I told myself that as long as it would fit in the box for the template, it would be good. I mean, it's not very hard to come up with ideas for clothing and armors for them. I'll work on more details for the Splurgs. I already added their politic. Stay tuned guys!

 

I added clothing, colors and personnalisation, what do you think guys?

 

I'm liking the look of the light soldier's armor, not sure on the coloration changes unless the species due to it's gelatinous nature can change it's coloration to match the surrounding biome (with albinos being a mutation of that gene). However the muscled and burnt bodies do look pretty good.

 

Yeah, well the only problem is that body personnalisation will be visible under armor, so it's mostly going to be useful if you go to the beach or to if you like to wear underwears in your spaceship. I wouldn't mess with the muscled one, hehe.

For the color, the bule-gray could fit very well in an aquatic environment or even crystal, the carrot one would be into desert or even lava, the olive can go with forest I guess and the albinos, well, either in snow, or just anywhere cause he's got red eyes and therefore looks cool, haha.

 

love the sprites, if I had to chose now I would have a dark olive with burn scars

 

*Chuckles* Not really my cup of tea to be honest, but I can see them fitting into the game well enough.

 

By far one of my favorite race suggestions I have seen!
Their name reminded me of the slurgs from Oddworld.
Hope they make it in!

 

Thanks alot. Yet they'll probably not make it in the game, the devs said they'll make the same armors for each races, and being that their legs' joint are reversed and that their head has a funny shape, they probably won't want to put effort into putting them in the game, sadly for me.

 

You could settle for straightening their legs?
After all playing as one would be cool either way!

 

Yeah well, I might do that, but they already have their 6 races for the release so...

 

I mean for the post-release of the game.

Yeah they'd require a whole set of head armor for the species. That would be a pain in the ass. That's why I'm working on a new playable race now, the Siccabians:
