Toaster People

Yes, you heard right. Toaster People.
This is just sort of a suggestion I'm coming up with now as I write this topic, so hopefully it won't suck. If it does, feel free to reply saying what you dislike about it.

BASIC CONCEPT
The basic concept of this is people. That are toasters. (Shocking, I know )
Whether or not they would be people with toasters for heads, or just plain toasters, I'm not entirely certain. YOU DECIDE ^.^

Where are they found?
They would be found on their home world, a planet that is a toaster, DUH!
Several of these planets would be found scattered through the galaxy, each with it's own different race of toaster people, all of which do something a little different.
Also, there would be 'Toaster Pirates' floating through space that would attempt to raid your ship, and you could have the basic fight or flight response to that. Or just submit and let them take your stuff.

What would their technology be like?
Depending on what races of toaster people you encounter, it could be varied. There could be toaster people that are still doing tribal dances worshiping a toast god, and some could have more advanced technology than you. Who knows, they're toasters, after all.

What purpose would they serve?
They would probably have some sort of food-supplying capabilities, seeing as they are toasters, so if you could establish trade with them (assuming all of this stuff (food and trade and stuff) is added), then you could trade with them to get food like toast. Because they are toasters.

Anything else?
No, but I will add more stuff to this thread as I think of it. Tell me what you think!

Do they attack by shooting burnt toast at you?

 

Perhaps, it would be like shooting garbage at your enemies though, seeing as burnt toast would be exactly that to them

This is also a very impressive sprite, although I envisioned the toaster god being a toast. Or perhaps that could be the toast god. I don't know
