Besides skipable cut scenes, which has already been requested, will the treasures do anything this time as opposed to just function as key items? Also, I'm looking forward to this game a lot, and I'm happy to see how well things are going.
That would be REALLY amazing. Maybe all the side quests, like when you go back to angeloak to fix the pollution, would have to use a treasure or something.
I'd imagine that this would require a lot of thought, and likely come to negatively effect the alluring simplicity of the game mechanics. Items that act passively to change something story wise would likely serve to deepen the narrative somewhat, though presents a similar risk though with story instead of mechanics.
