I have a question: how to successfully plant coralcreep seeds and reefpod to "initiate" the development of both plants. I know that you have to put them in a water environment, but only (in my case) is the problem: on what ground do I plant seeds? I try on a few (dirt, sand, mud) and at the beginning of the seed is fortified in the ground to "jump out" in the original version (as seed).

What am I doing wrong and how should this be done properly?

have you tilled the ground? it also sounds like you might not have enough water. normal dirt that you use for normal crops should work fine

And whether I use a hoe, or in this case you can let go of it?

And how much space to spend on one seedling?

You will need a hoe to till the ground under the water, and Coralcreep takes about 3 blocks while Reefpod will take three to four as it varies in size.

I believe water 4 blocks deep is the bare minimum for Coralcreep.
