[Unstable] So about that new visual novel mechanic

Will there be multiple routes for this?

 

I remember words from an update saying something about visual novel engine.... but AN ACTUAL VN IN STARBOUND? Wow, just wow. Also, to get a novel in-game, do you need some sort of an actual book or, I dunno, an arcade machine or any other device?
P.S. Of course Hylotls are the authors of visual novels (you know, japanese stuff and such)
