There should be an option when starting a new game to go mod free, for people who want a modded character and a normal one. I downloaded mods pretty early in my play through, and it’s getting hard to tell what is vanilla anymore. It would be cool if, when making a new character or world, if I could check some kind of box that said “would you like to enable mods for this character?” That way players could experience the full game normally, then have another game with silly mods installed.
Thanks! This would also allow people to play with a friend without having to delete all your mods or making them hat all yours.
this is a pretty good idea. the absence of this is why i don't mess around with mods very much, because i'd like the ability to turn them off easily for certain characters. but i know it's hard because they all share the same universe...
