Closed Watering Can's Left Facing Issue

Has anyone noticed that if you face towards the left then use the watering can, it sprays in the "wrong" direction you'd expect? Facing right pointing at a 45 degree angle up, it looks fine. Turn to the left, however, makes the water instead will fall down at 45 degrees, but at the same point at which it would come from while facing to the right. I'd love to be able to farm without having to be "OCD" about this, only facing to the right to water my crops. I mean, this has been an issue since the watering can was a thing, at least I think it has.
