Just wondering if anyone else is seeing a 'not secure' flag when logging in to both the main SV page and the Forums page? I'm using an up-to-date version of Firefox (main browser). I'm not seeing any http:// in the address bar in Firefox, but in IE it's http:, not https:. I know we ran into this problem in our school district and it traced back to a certificate change and we had to update our web servers certificates and redirect the http traffic to https afterwards.

Is anyone else having this issue? I'm getting it at multiple (physical) locations and different browsers.

this is likely because of login information being shared. if this website was a criminal site, this login information could be used to steal your accounts elsewhere if you have the same login info elsewhere

  3. Chrome and Firefox now display "not secure" warnings for web pages that have login forms and are not using HTTPS: https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2017/01/20/communicating-the-dangers-of-non-secure-http/

Unfortunately, we don't have HTTPS set up yet (I'm not sure when it will happen as it's not under my control), so you will see that warning when logging into the site.
If Firefox is like Chrome, it's a cosmetic choice. No "http://" is the same as http://<url>, and https:// will show if a site is using HTTPS.

Fair enough. I just wanted to bring it up if in case it was something new.
