I believe it takes place in the year 13379001, personally.

 

But how would we know what year if various planets have different calendar systems and have their own years? The year could be 3432AD one place, but GF135 somewhere else. Maybe even AC6002!

When thinking about years in such a setting that involves an expansive universe of civilizations, asking 'what year' is difficult, and could easily depend on where you are at the time, or even what calendar system you go by.

Other than that, it's likely just some alternate fictional dimension whose year doesn't mean much.
