Me and my friend decided to start a small colony mid-late game. Besides making their rooms look fit for a king, giving you low tier gifts and sending you on small odd jobs, there isn't much more to them. So my friend and I were brainstorming some ideas to liven up how colonies work. >Better quests -Based on what tier ship you have, why not make the quests a bit harder than fetching a tomato for someone? Why not have a delivery job to someone in a different star system? Or kill a certain quest-only mob for terrorizing the town? Etc. >Jobs -Some different races should be assigned to different jobs that they excel in. -Warrior (Floran) -Miner (Glitch) -Farmer (Hylotl? fish/water) -All-around (Human) -Sentry (Novakid?) -Hunter/Gatherer (Avian?) -Chef (Apex?) >Level appropriate gifts -For example, Tier 1-3 ships can get bandages Tier 4-6 get medkits Tier 7-8 get something like nano bandages -And level appropriate weapons -Maybe job specific gifts? Those are just my ideas. What do you think?
