.xnb files reading issue

So, kinda messed up somewhere when trying to convert OhoDavi's anime portrait mod from a .rar file into a .xnb file. Not the most tech savvy, but I accidentally made my .xnb files open using Chrome and now I can't convert it back. That was before I realized there was a zipped file available. ;;

I tried:

• Verifying my files through Steam
• Deleting history of the .xnb file extention using the location: "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.xnb"
  
• Tried to switch opening the file to folders, but didn't allow me

Not really a Stardew specific issue/bug, but impacts my actual game files so pls help.
