Better Dash conflicts with Improved Swimming? ;-;

 

Up+Left or Right will make you dash instead of swim diagonally. It doesn't stop the Improved Swimming mechanics from working, but it does keep you from swimming diagonally up without dashing.

EDIT: This applies to Air Dash. So I should edit the OP and express that more clearly since it doesn't affect Blink or Regular Dash.

Hi! If you're interested, I just made a change to dash.lua that prevents dashing when a player meets the requirements to use my improved swim physics. Here it is if you're interested in adding it to your mod; the only change is on the same line as the comment:
