Change host of the savefile

Hello, I have issues in 1.3 with one playing always going out of sync, unable to open chests and having too long loading screens.
I wanna try him to host to see if it helps, but how do I properly pass him my savegame? Do I need to edit it somehow so we can still play our own characters?

 

I don't know how to transfer farm host without outright swapping characters, but the sync issues could very well be one of the bugs people are complaining about right now. Might want to report it as such with as many details as possible to help them develop a fix for it.
