Do you have any idea how many software engineers make mods for Stardew Valley? A lot. This is a huge testament to your game and you should be proud. I've only recently learned this. You would think that a simple mod wouldn't need that much code, but it does. So if you use mods, and I use the best of the best, give the mod authors the respect they deserve. They are truly skilled. Shout out to Pathoschild for creating the Stardew Valley Modding API. I have to tell you, the API @ version 3.1 is damn good. In case anyone is wondering, YES mods do work with multiplayer, but both must use the same platform and the same files. Just about every void that I had with the game has been addressed with a mod. So a big thank you to you ConcernedApe, Pathoschild and all Mod authors.
