Hello! Since I finished the game long time ago, I keep going back to this game just to build stuff! I love making small & detailed build, but this time I'm trying to make bigger ones. It started as a small outpost, but then it become a vast and diverse city. I hope I can continue to expand the settlements continuously, and I'll be sure to post updates here. Hope you enjoy it as I do! UPDATE: merged some pictures into one LARGE image. (I hope it worth loading xD) Airship & West Dock Hylotl Restaurant & Houses Town Square Artisan's Workshop Coffee Shop Mechanic Workshop Currently in city: - Airship - Ramen Restaurant - Open Bar - Town Square - Artisan's Workshop - Mechanic Workshop - Coffee Shop - Guard House & Jail - Mini Chopper - Convenience Store - Greenhouse
@shark213 Do you usually just go with the flow of the natural terrain? or do you level everything off and build up as you need it? Its inspiring work either way!
I'd love to roam around in this city! If you plan on expanding more, I'd suggest a sheriffs office/jail, a medical office and/or a junkyard.
Thanks! Since it's underground, I had to level everything and build from scratch to get the terrain I wanted. Thank you for your kind suggestion! Junkyard is already on the way!
ah, these look amazing! I love the more cluttered, hodge-podge builds such as these - It feels really organic, so to speak. Makes me feel I might be focusing too much on making things super symmetrical and spacious.
Thanks! I've done symmetrical kind of build before, and somewhat unsatisfied with the result. So I try to mess with it a little bit (or maybe a lot) xD Thank you! If I done with this, it wouldn't be mini for sure! xD
You know, one of my favorite details for slums is to hang homes off the ceiling on chains. Also, what are the mods you're using?
Most objects are from here: https://community.playstarbound.com/resources/authors/rare_candy_bracelet.663041/
Are there any visual mods you are using? I've never seen the starbucks signs, as well as some other items. I'm fairly new to the game and am also trying to do some building.
The sign came from this mod: https://community.playstarbound.com/resources/foodies-furniture.4911/ I'm gonna repeat myself:
I have no words. This is exquisite. I am really enjoying the amazing details scattered all through out the build, almost as if each part tells a story.
