"Directional keys still work during battle animations" still a problem on PC

I see that in version 1.3.0, the bug "Can use D-Pad while battle animations are playing, causing mouse to be in weird location" was fixed for all platforms that this game is available on. However, when running the game on Windows through Steam, I still experience this issue while playing with a Logitech F310 gamepad.
In the options menu, I can see that I am running v2.1.7, build number 20187. I'm surprised that this issue still persists in such a late version of the game. Is anyone else still experiencing this?
