Does marriage prevent group break-up in 1.3?

I'm a bit of a completionist and it really bugged me that you could get some villagers up to 10 but others only up to 8, and previously there was no penalty for giving bouquets to multiple villagers. I married Abigail but the bouquets are still present for everyone in the Friends screen. I've avoided checking out the beta just because everyone's going to be upset... I don't know if I can stand the shame!

 

Your save isn't affected by the beta if you haven't opted in, so the bouquets being there doesn't mean much.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you if the events still trigger or not, but if need be, you could back up your save, opt in for the beta, load your game and see. If it does trigger, opt out of the beta again, then add your backed up save in again.

Marriage should block the event, from what I've read.
