This mod is very, very handy for taking screenshots of large areas.

Question: Is this fully compatible with multiplayer mode? Considering this just changes optionsmenu.config, I can't imagine it interfering with that. But I thought I would ask.

 

Yes, fully multiplayer compatible without any need for server-side support.

Did a quick patch for myself for Upbeat Giraffe. Here's my patch if you want an easier time updating this great mod: http://www.mediafire.com/download/pkdwi6xoji2xxgd/ExtraZoomLevels.zip

Still wish they'd just add your changes to the base game.

Is it possible to add a key to zoom in and out?

 

Hi there!
I have a little problem: When i am on an ocean-planet and zoom out to 1x - 0,5x , there are always some lines, horizontal, which are lighter than the surrounding.
The size and length of those varies.
Any ideas for a solution?
If you need anything, a pic or what ever let me know.

I tried simply changing the version line to
"version" : "Beta v. Pleased Giraffe - Update 5",
and
"version" : "Beta v. Pleased Giraffe",

But neither work.

 

After changing the version line to "Beta v. Pleased Giraffe - Update 5" I realized I had the mod installed in the wrong place.

I moved it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\giraffe_storage\mods and now it works!

just popping in to say that this mod still works with Glad Giraffe. great mod, really handy for screenshots

 

This might be a stupid question, but what am I supposed to do with the 'interface' folder? I've put everything in the mod folder for upbeat giraffe but the new zoom levels aren't showing up.

 

That's your problem. "Upbeat" is outdated. It's Glad Giraffe now.

 

Ah I'm sorry. I got the names mixed up. I'm playing on Glad Giraffe.

 

This mod still works perfectly fine with Glad Giraffe, and will likely remain compatible with every future update as well given its simplicity.
