Upon your travels you find a stranded NPC who requests your help, his ship failed and crashed, and he's been stranded for days living off the local food sources. Saving him, he promises you great rewards as soon as he's on his feet.

He is a Galactic Engineer/Mechanic vendor, who offers plans to create specialty and convenience items, for a price. Prices may vary.

You rescue him, and he appears in the Outpost main hub with a shop of his own, items listed vary over time, or list of items on offer builds progressively as player gets further into game progress.

When you visit him, he offers things to sell such as 'Plans' to create:
-Motion Detectors // Players & NPC Detectors within a certain range, causing triggers on equipment via plans purchased by player through this vendor.
-working Elevators/moving platforms (For multi story dwellings).
-Net gun, shoots a net which captures monsters temporarily.
    -Mechanical Trapdoor Flooring
-Active Camoflage Device (Texture on player adapts to nearby textures for stealth purposes, kind of like Metal Gear Solid 4 Octo-camo)
    -Specialized Atmospheric Suits
-Tenant Spawners for rent / Rent collector
    -Misdirector/Decoy (Attracts enemies/monsters to a certain point)
    -Metal Storage Containers
    -Light Scout Mechs/Parts
    -Heavy Battle Mechs/Parts
-Item TV Screen (Place above or next to storage containers (eg chests/cupboards), and it will display contents of chest in icon or textual form)
-Indestructible Flying Target Drone (Can't attack players, used for shooting practice)
-Destructible Drone with a Hook Attachment (Player can hold on to and have limited flight with it)
    -Gun with flashlight attachment

    And more...
