I'm thinking about playing starbound but I have questions about the UI

Hi I am interested in trying this game, but I wanted to ask about the UI, as I previously tried to play terraria, and I had to quit because I was unable to read the UI. I am visually impaired so I generally can only play games that have a big font, or you can change the UI to make things bigger. For reference, I play and mod Stardew, and I can work with its UI fairly well if I use max zoom on my PC!
