Oh, yeah! I made lava use the vanilla swim behavior, so people could quickly escape. But I could change it if enough people want me to
That makes sense, good thinking. I've seen some authors package multiple versions of a mod in a zip, such as Colorbound. Perhaps you could have the current one, then a "hard mode" version.
This patch is 425 bytes, so downloading it might take a few hours ;-; but it does make you able to swim in lava EDIT: Can't upload .paks here, but can upload .zips. .zip is heavier than .pak ;-;
I'm currentlly not at home and using my neighbor's wifi and that file takes 40 sec to fully download (really) i'm living in the 3rd world topic change: for better accesibility jump button should be used for swim up and jump, because when you want to exit from liquids you need to use 2 KEYS AT TIME!!!!, YES, 2 F'KING KEYS AT TIME!!!!!!! (it may sound lazzy but i think that is better with only 1 key (jump key) to exit from water).
I don't wanna add a thing for custom controls while swimming ;-; sorry! Plus, it'd be a bit weird using ASD+Space instead of WASD but since you can bind an action to 2 different keys, you can bind jump to W and Space That way, holding W will make you jump outta the liquid, and make you go up
I could be able to mod your mod, so i'll try to change some file contents because other keybinds may be strange for playing, i don't know anything about modding, so i'll use intuition.
*curious about what people think about the mod* *wants feedback and suggestions* *wants her tummy to stop hurting*
With respect to my question about Frackin Races and swim speed, i gave it a test and it turns out the speed boost is gone when your mod is installed

Fairly sure you shouldn't be able to swim in Shadow Gas (Frackin' Universe). Without this, usually it would drag you down, effectively making it disable double/wall jumps and not let you "swim" at all. This would very likely affect other gas-type "liquids" from FU, so those should be checked too.
