I'm curious what everyone's been doing with their ship/flying storage unit. I've seen all kind's of set ups, from practical, to decorative, to empty. For me, the Jazz Monkey needs only his ship.

Wow, and I thought my ship was starting to look good. Ya'll beat the hell out of what I've got so far. I wanna replace the back wall with something that matches the ship better, but I'm not sure what. A lot of it is that I just haven't found much good stuff to decorate with. Needs moar Stargate.
I originally used it for storage but I was running out of room and then someone took a bunch of my stuff So now I use it for decoration mainly and storing some next to useless trash. I keep all my stuff on a level 18 desert planet in the beta sector.
I use mine as decoration. I really like how lots of placeable items can fit many themes. I also use it as a crafting beacon.
I'm keeping an eye on that mod. For a long time there was a lot of discussion about building your own ships. If the mod goes well, I think it would be a great feature/addition/permamod.
I think a great addition as well is simply having the ability to change the outward appearance of your ship (something as small as the color to the whole style) Like I love the fish-race ship; but not to fish race so much.... or just having different styles in general. (I know people want upgrades in size too, but this is something I'd love to see personally)
Well thats good; It's always funny seeing everyone cram their ships full of chests trying to store everything ;P
You guys have done some REALLY nice stuff with your ships, I'm seriously impressed! Mine looks rather lacklustre in comparison, I've gone for utility over decoration I'm afraid.
