Bug/Issue Marnie Glitch

I recently got the Stardew Valley on my switch. I played normally up until the dialogue with Marnie regarding the dog. I said yes and proceeded as normal. Come the 20th day of the first year Spring upon waking up Marnie was waiting with the dog again. When you say yes and then name the dog it proceeds to loop the dialogue so you can never leave the house. Is there a way to fix this?
