Bug/Issue Message/Note side quests cannot be completed after dying

In my first encounter with the colony-wide sidequests, I had as many as eight different quests for the Florian colony. After some tragic incidents ending in death, I found that I could no longer complete some note quests. I knew I had received notes to give, which appeared in inventory, but now they are gone...really gone...truly gone.

I had one note left in inventory but three of these type quests in my journal. After dying once more, I returned for my stuff and saw there was a yellow arrow above it. I assume this meant a quest item was among the items strewn about. When I checked my inventory, the note (which said some like "I love spaceships") was gone.

Is there a command I can enter through the server to get these notes back and complete the quests?
