Let me tell you a story. Back in April 2016, JinxMinx created a thread in the Portraits sub to show off a mod called Monster Valley. It was a small mod, still in progress, but people were interested. However, JinxMinx eventually stopped posting in the thread and the people panicked. In October, user robogena posted a continuation thread. Monster Valley was becoming a few steps closer to complete. But then robogena stopped posting as well. The people waited and waited, hoping for an update, for our heroes to return, for someone to step up and say, 'This mod will be completed'. I was one of those people. Eventually, I got tired of waiting. I learned how to edit .xnb files and began working on this mod in secret. I planned to release this mod once all the portraits and sprites were done and with the community's support, work on the things I'm still not 100% sure how to do. I wanted to see Monster Valley completed so badly. Now, I'm making it happen. -- Monster Valley turns the NPCs of Pelican Town into monsters. I've been more-or-less following JinxMinx's list for who gets turned into what.
