this mod makes the old novakids look so plain in comparison, amazing pixel work here mate

 

Loving this mod! I miss some of the old brands, corona styles and colors but this is a definitely appreciated mod for me. Thank you, good job! It looks and runs fantastically!

 

This mod has made me want to play as a Novakid again. little details and yet they make a huge difference.

 

they look better than the vanilla one. i hope it will work on the unstable (not nightly,unstable.)
and this is what i meant for "it would be nice to have the novakid+ things ON the vanilla's novas." (in my stupid streamings.)

Can anyone suggest a save editor that will allow me to change the deposit mineral color on existing character? Just got this, and love it, but I don't like my char deposit's color.

Edit: So I tried this http://www.sbse.co/ and it works! I tried star cheat but it only works for stock stuff. That one can modified characters look even if there are mods.

 

For some strange reason I can't get this mod to work.

 

Have you placed the novaskin.modpak file into Starbound\giraffe_storage\mods ?

 

Oh. That's the problem. I wasn't aware there was a specific folder for mods for each patch.

 

I'll update the overview with this information. Thanks for bringing up this point!

 

Multiplayer friendly... or not?

 

Friendly. No changes to the server or character data - just the base textures.

 

New to starbound. I downloaded the mod, and put it into the said folder. But It still doesn't work. ): Do i want the .zip file, folder, or the modpack file in there? I have the folder, leading to the file.

 

Just the modpak file.

Should look like \Starbound\giraffe_storage\mods\novaskin.modpak

Now we just need the old train design back. That looks much better than the current one.

But...it might not be multiplayer compatible that way.
