RELEASED [SMAPI 1.5] CJB Automation v1.4 Beta [01-Jan-2017]

Machines will automatically pull and push items from adjacent chests.




How to use:
place a chest next to a machine (Furnace, Cheese Press, Bee House, etc...) the machines will automatically pull the required items from the chest or push the processed item into the chest.


How to install:
Install SMAPI 1.5.

Unpack the download to your mods folder.

This mod is useful in multiple ways. Awesome mod as per usual

 

Seems to handle one chest for multiple furnaces perfectly. I was a little worried about them "duping" bars. Wonderful work again CJB! I can finally get through that backlog of ores I've been hoarding.

 

There might be some machines which are not yet implemented. But I think I got the most used machines covered. If you come across any which aren't working let me know

 

Probably it's better to reserve the coal if you want to use it for crafting. Otherwise, great mod (no need to move and wait every time).

Doesn't seem to work with machines/chests in buildings such as coops and barns.

Any plans to have the chests not needing to be directly adjacent to the machine? Or possibly designate a single chest to push/pull to multiple machines?

 

From a post on the Nexus page for the mod: "Seed maker, recycling machine, oil press, mushroom box, crystalarium, slime egg press, statue of endless fortune, statue of perfection, and tap buckets are not automatic."

Also, knowing that it doesn't work in barns and coops: Does anyone know, for those who use the 'FarmHouseExtended' mod (I know, risky considering there's apparently a bug that destroys machines placed there for some users, and difficult for anyone to start using it now because that bug has apparently prompted its creator to take it down), if this works with machines in the basement (if they aren't affected by the destroying bug)?

 

Didn't try it out yet, but it should be possible with this mod to produce coal with wood and use the same chest to produce more ingots, shouldn't it?

 

Does it work if the "Fast Machine Processing" cheat is enabled?

I love this idea, it would be made even better if this was accomplished via a special more expensive chest(diamond chest maybe?) or perhaps a pipe!

Gives you automatic ore processing.

If you make sure you're ore is always in the chest next to the furnace. Dumping ore into any chest on the outside of your farm will redirect it to you're furnace chest.

Oh and I think you missed the mayonaise machine

I'm not using FarmhouseExtended anymore, but since it's the same map, it should work.

It works with the Crystalarium. It only pushes the created gems into the chest. It doesn't pull from the chest.
