I was thinking, we should harness the power of the community to give Stardew Valley a boost on the Greenlight. So anybody who hasn't voted it up yet, DO EET.
Hmm call me dull but I don't get it. Is there a link I can follow to make it easier for my tired brain?
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93285018&searchtext=Stardew Valley Steps(because apparently they are needed): 1. Read the following steps. 2.Click link after reading the following steps. 3. Log in to your steam account. 4. Click on the yes button on Stardew Valley's Greenlight page. 5.Relish in the fact that you just helped an amazing game get closer to being greenlit on steam.
Thanks for helping my thread out man, this'll help a lot. Edit: Can we alert the Starbound section about this? Not sure if they frequent this area as much.
Create a thread stating other games people interested in Starbound might like and include the link I just posted as well as games like Edge of Space, Secrets of Grindea, King Arthur's Gold, a new zombie builder Roam, and Project Zomboid. (just to name a few off the top of my head).
Believe me, we do And I already voted. Hope Apes already got the stuff ready to send to Gabe, the sooner its up the better!
well Greenlight is olny for indies that doent have puplishers sence chucklefish is puplishing it, it wount need a greenlight so even if it gets greenlit or not its still going to be on steam unless valve rejects the game... witch they wont
Are you totally sure about this? Anyhow I consider Chucklefish to still be pretty damn indie imo... they are more or less a tiny developer who themselves got no publisher, but chose to publish themselves... and then they chose to support these even smaller developers because, I assume, they had the means to. Not like Mojang, for example, is a "publisher" yet they publish their stuff themselves, and support other games, such as the new "Age of Wonders" game. But as Echo said, voting for it on Greenlight still is very good PR.
they got wonderlust on steam without greenlight im sure they can do the same with stardew valley im not saying dont vote for it im just saying it will be on steam even if it doent make it i remember CA saying it was at around 90ish % anyways so its gonna get done sooner or later
Oh, I always wanted a game like this for PC. Having them only on consoles is preposterous. I'm voting right away.
Does it still need Greenlight? I was under the impression that Chucklefish already had titles on Steam so it would be smooth sailing.
SV still has to go through greenlight because ConcernedApe put it on there before Chucklefish became the publisher. So, I don't think Chucklefish is able to help him skip greenlight like they did with Wanderlust.
