I don't know, but frankly I think if it would be cool if when SV comes out on steam, this game would be one of the games that has a ST Card. I don't know steam's policy on getting a card for the game, but I think it would make a cool connection to steam itself.

Please if you use steam answer the question below.

I think its a nice feature to help you build your profile to make it personal to the game you enjoy the most.

The more games that are added to STC the more in-depth profile customisation available to users. However most cards are traded on the market so some money to buy them is needed. I see the STC as a method to make the market more in-depth. I think its a shame that you need to buy card if you can't find someone willing to trade for them.

Doesn't Steam decide what games have cards though?

Not fully sure, I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that the dev(s) make their own cards though.

Within reason. It has been stated that unless the game is their own (Valve,) then the STC system will be very highly moderated. Presumably to stop people inflating their own scores. Not much is known at this stage.
