Suggestion: Suicide

Had anyone got a point in the game where you where just not killable anymore?
Ive had that, and to actualy get a highscore then is to die (wich you cant)

So my suggestion is to be able to kill yourself with a specific command or key.

yes i agree with that. but as of now you can still die even if you think that you cant die.
here are some ways that i know could kill you:
1. get hit by 3-5 overloading magma wormzzzzzz
2. get to the temple of the elders -> play the huge health shrine while there are lots of enemies around you.
3. get multiple toxic beasts spawning and just run below them so that you get stomp on (in teh secret level)
4. swim in the lava in magma barracks whilst getting shot by cremator
5. bathe in the mushrum's clouds of doom

 

6. Keep moving- don't let the bustling fungus work!

 

If you get hit continuously, bustling fungus will no longer work. It's been changed to only work if you don't get hit while standing still.

 

I still fail at most of these points.
1. have to get that much overloading magma worms in the first place (and at the same time)
2. even if I do the 99% health shrine monsters fail to kill me because im too awesome.
3. toxic beast die from on contact proc items or self defensive items faster then they can do dmg to me, and I heal too fast (even without a burstling fungus)
4. this did the trick for me once but, mostly too much misc mobs spawn and suicide on my self defence items so i heal to fast and cremater dies aswel.
5. mushrooms die too fast do actualy get dmg from them effectively. (worked once aswel)

 

Sounds like you're too much of a god to die. I think we might need some blighted enemies in normal mode. (Also, try hardcore!)

 

Yeah its true I haven't played that much hardcore yet.
But I still think its anoying to be unable to die even if it is on normal mode.

 

I know this feel! I tried using the Health Shrines in the Temple of the Elders and then repeatedly jumping off the cliff. It was then that I learned that doing so takes away a % health and not a fixed amount - something that condemns you to eternal life. :C

 

Two words: Jelly Golems

I'm not talking about the bug. I mean, go hang on a rope above a or below a jelly golem and it will eventually kill you, as long as you don't have any drones. The jellyfish is spawns do ridiculous amounts of damage.

Besides, the bug wouldn't work anyway. You'd have to abort the game which doesn't save your score.

 

Maybe... Except for barbed wire, fire shields, and panic mines. (the mines might take out the golem)

I completely forgot this thread existed, and taken out of context the thread title looks like it suggests the devs should kill themselves.

 

Could't you just go beat providence instead of suiciding?

 

The only point about that is if you got monster lag because of the drones/monsters and it take 10 minutes to do 2 minutes ig.
THEN the suicide could be useful.
Except that, not really.

 

The game wasn't finished when this thread was created. At the time the final level hadn't been implemented and the only option was to continuously loop.
