RELEASED Swimsuits to Towels or Robes (Update 5/1/16)

1.1 Compatible (as far as I know)**

Compatible with Zhuria's Removed Reins Mod!

Not Compatible with other XNB mods that replace the farmer_base.xnb and/or farmer_girl_base.xnb! For example, the lovely Get Dressed Mod by Advize and Jinxiewinxie.

Anyways! These will replace your bikini or swim trunks with a towel or robe.



Place in Stardew Valley > Content > Characters > Farmer.
Backup your original farmer_base.xnb and farmer_girl_base.xnb!

*The towels/robes should match the color of your pants. My character has blue pants, so blue spa outfit. Yours will be whatever color pants you have on.
**I play as a female farmer, so I haven't personally checked male compatibility for 1.1. But I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Now for some XNB-tinkering (I use the 'Remove Reins' mod)..

 

Oh wow, it does edit the same file. It doesn't sound too hard though. I'd keep Zhuria's mod and add mine onto her file since I'm not familiar with it. If you have trouble, I'd be happy to try and help. c:

Sorry, been absent a looong while. Yes, I see no reason it shouldn't. Comparing the files, it doesn't appear that they changed.

I think something wrong with the file. i play 1.1 and my character uses the bikini. I know these mods works because i have a hairstyle changer. do you think you could help? i had renamed the farmer_girl base in the farmer folder then put your file in put it just act like i didn't changed anythink.

 

That is odd. I can check them as soon as I'm able. But I'm at the hospital currently and unsure of when I'll be back.

Figurad out the real reason: get dressed overwrites all xnb changes.

 

Ah, that makes sense. Get Dressed is a super cute mod. Perhaps when v1.2 is out of beta I'll see what I can do to collaborate with the mod's creators for compatibility. Thanks for letting me know either way. I'll make a note of it on the OP. c:
