Has anyone checked if terraforming a planet makes its picture in the backgroudn change from a moon to whatever else it was terraformed into? (I mean the tiny planet picture in the background, not the planets background)
Long time no see. Maybe I should post some screenshots. Before we begin, we will return to Concordia, maybe my favorite project back in pre-1.0 (you'll find some of the original buildings in the link). I have to admit: i relly miss it. But the past is the past, and the present is the present. Not much have been left from the once amazing building which was the Senate of the Republic. Concordia, the capital of the the Republic, has been forgotten for a long time. What happened here? What happened to Concordia and the Republic? We'll never know (maybe). All that is left is the symbol of the long lost civilization which commanded this sector of the galaxies - maybe hundereds of years ago. We continue our voyage. Ruins are sparse, but they tell old stories. Like this building, which was the Consulate (also one of my favorite buildings). The clock tower of the Consulate is destroyed. It collapsed long ago. But still, there is something left. The prefecture, however, is lost. There is only an old facade of one side building, but the rest was swallowed by the sea.
The weather fits the mood of the situation: more ruined houses on the once glorious planet of Concordia. Strange grafittos remain as a last message from the former inhabitants. The meaning seems to be rather arcane. What was once a place of joy is now only a fading memory.
But even if Concordia is laying in ruins, a new morning will come. And with the morning, the beginning of something new. Something great. Maybe greater than you might have expected.
All buildings you see in this thread were made without creative mode and without mods. However, as I play mostly in multiplayer, people come and give me the materials I need, so I can concentrate on my builds.
Ok, some time has passed. even if this thread hasn't been used for a while, I built the last years. As you may have read, Concordia is a ruin, but in the sky, Caelia thrones on clouds and flying plattforms. There is a giant city to discover - so giant, that I became lazy and didn't make images. But hey, let's have at least a look at some nice things. We start with the quarter on the right of the Cathedral. A nice, elegant bridge leads to some other houses. These are the outskirts of Caelia, after that, a tower leads to the upper part of this quarter. This is a denser populated area. Do you see the pet shop? Theres also a nice Casino for gambling! Let's move to the Cathedral hill!
After many years, I decided to make some videos including the last project I made. Here is the first one. Subtitles included as comment.
